HSAB training programme

• Current safeguarding adults training course availability for Halton Borough Council staff can be accessed via the Learning & Development area on the intranet. 
• There are also a variety of e-learning courses that are available through Halton Borough Council’s Adult Social Care e-learning platform
• Halton Safeguarding Adults Board Training Programme is offering FREE multi-agency training free of charge to those living and working in Halton who have a direct involvement in the care and support of adults with additional needs. This includes volunteers, carers, those employed through a personal budget and those who use services.
• 7 minute briefings. Free downloadable resources for your teams, on the following themes:
  • Modern Day Slavery
  • Self-Neglect
  • Domestic Abuse and Older people
  • Human Rights
  • Making Safeguarding Personal’

• Research in Practice for Adults RiPfA Delivery Programme: Allocated places at training and network events are included for Partners. They are also available to purchase without taking out membership.
