WAVES

A local support service for adults at risk with multiple problems experiencing a chaotic lifestyle and who have difficulty engaging with services. It is a professional referral process only and there is an eligibility criteria. More information here and how to refer in to the service here.

Training

HSAB training programme 2018-19

  • Current safeguarding adults training course availability for Halton Borough Council staff can be accessed via the Learning & Development area on the intranet. 
  • There are also a variety of e-learning courses that are available to all staff from any organisation: Guide to e-learning setup for HSAB & sub group members
  • Halton Safeguarding Adults Board Training Programme 2018 is offering FREE multi-agency training free of charge to those living and working in Halton who have a direct involvement in the care and support of adults with additional needs. This includes volunteers, carers, those employed through a personal budget and those who use services.

  • Research in Practice for Adults RiPfA Delivery Programme: Allocated places at training and network events are included for Partners. They are also available to purchase without taking out membership.
